







1: Start with foam manikan and secure antlers to the form.
2: Set glass eyes and do clay work to form upper and lower eyelids.
3: Place deer cape over form (taxi) or move cape close to where it should be, eyes where eyes should be, nose where nose should be, etc.
4: Shape, tuck and form the nose.
5: Form the mouth by tucking his upper lip first then tuck the bottom lip to make a natural looking mouth.
6: Next comes eye work. If right handed, do left eye first and vise-versa. Tuck eye lid skin to form a natural looking eye.
7: Follow same steps to do opposite eye and make sure eyes are as similiar as possible.
8: Sew all seams in the back of deer head mount.
9: Take shoulder skin around form and tack to back of form, trim excess cape. Position ears, do final grooming and let dry.
